SAY HELLO TO 100% GLASS RECYCLING COLORADO

CLEAR INTENTIONS IS MAKING HEADLINES!

COLORADO THROWS AWAY OVER 450 MILLION GLASS BOTTLES EVERY SINGLE YEAR…..

WAIT, WHAT? COLORADO RECYCLES, WHAT GIVES?

Definition of Recycling: to undergo reuse or renewal; be subject to or suitable of further use, activity, etc.:

Glass is the perfect recyclable material, it is INFINITELY recyclable without any loss in quality. What does that mean? It means, I can take an old glass bottle, crush it down, melt it, and make a new bottle, as many times as I want! And, this new bottle is just as good as the first bottle!

So, wait, why is glass ending up in the landfill?!

We put the rest of our recyclables into a bin with the "chasing arrows" called single-stream recycling.

That bin gets picked up by trucks and brought to a Material Recycling Facility (MRF)

That MRF then separates the recyclables into different materials (i.e.: paper, plastic, aluminum, and finally glass).
